Ways to save money
I often get asked what tips I can give to my clients to help them to save money. Sometimes they want tips on how to save money on the groceries, sometimes its tips on how to save money and still look gorgeous.
One tip in the beauty department I happily pass on was given to me from a hair stylist who learnt her trade in the 70s when big hairdo's and lots of hairspray was normal.
Refining shampoos didn't exist in the 70s and generally they used a lot more hair product than we do today. So how did they manage to really clean their hair of all those products wihtout refining shampoos?
Bi-card Soda. Yep, its that easy. Once a week, add a 10 cent or dime size amount of Bi-card soda to your normal shampoo and wash away. You'll be surprised at how effective this treatment is and its a cheap beauty trick too. You'll have clean, soft hair, it'll cost you hardly anything and its eco-friendly compared to most other products.
Good for you, good for your wallet and good for the environment. So next time you are grocery shopping and looking at the range of shampoos, consider this cheap tip and give it a go first. You'll be pleasantly surprised by the results.
